ชื่อผลงาน : Three-Dimensional Crustal Shear Wave Velocity Structure and Azimuthal Anisotropy Across Northern and Central Thailand From Direct Joint Inversion of Rayleigh Wave Phase Velocities
รายละเอียด : This research investigates the three-dimensional crustal structure beneath northern and central Thailand using ambient noise tomography from 99 broadband stations. Analysis of Rayleigh wave phase velocity dispersion curves reveals significant lateral heterogeneities, with a high-velocity anomaly in the northwestern sector corresponding to the Shan-Thai terrane. A distinct velocity gradient delineates the boundary between Shan-Thai and Indo-China terranes. Azimuthal anisotropy shows a predominant NW-SE trend across northern Thailand. The correspondence between GPS-derived surface kinematics and crustal anisotropic fabric indicates a coherent deformation pattern extending through multiple crustal levels, particularly pronounced along terrane boundaries.
