In Northern Thailand, we present a 1-D velocity model, derived using VELEST code, for earthquake hypocenter determination and as a basis for 3-D tomography. Using travel times from 145 events recorded between 2009 and 2021, we optimized velocity models up to 40 km depth. The best-fit models minimized travel-time discrepancies, with root-mean-square values reaching a final minimum after up to 20 iterations. Seismicity is mainly within the upper 20 km, with few deeper events. The model aligns closely with global standards but shows minor station delays, reflecting local geological variations.
