This study examines the relationships among Historical Literacy (HIL), Social Thinking Skills (STS), and Critical Thinking Skills (CRT) in influencing Sustainable Cultural Tourism Behavior (SCB) among Thai Generation Z tourism students, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and PLS-SEM analysis. The findings indicate that HIL significantly enhances both STS and CRT, but does not directly lead to sustainable behavior, while STS shows a positive yet insignificant effect. The strongest pathway identified is HIL CRT SCB, highlighting CRT as a key mediating mechanism that transforms knowledge into ethical decision-making and actual behavior. The study emphasizes that fostering sustainable tourism behavior requires developing higher-order cognitive skills through integrated learning app
